ADVANCED: Adjust the Timing of Your Progress-Bar on the Go

In a session and realised that you should have allocated more time for a section of the agenda?
No problem, you can adjust the timing of your agenda easily.

1. Enter agenda edit mode by clicking on the ‘Agendas‘ icon in the top part of your agenda, and then click ‘Edit’.

2. Adjust the time allotted to the section you are currently in by writing in the ‘Duration‘ field, or by clicking the up and down arrows next to it. Clicking the ‘Save’ icon to exit agenda edit mode will implement your changes on the progress bar.

NOTE: You can see an overview of the timing of your entire agenda when you navigate it all the way to the left by clicking the arrow on the left of the ‘Start‘ button. Just be aware that your participants will always see which agenda part you are looking at.

Use the Progress Bar to Stay on Track

The progress bar helps you to keep your time commitments, by keeping you on track even if you run behind on any particular part of your session.

  1. Ready for take-off? When you and your participants are ready to start the session click the ‘Start‘ button below the agenda. A window will pop up.
  1. Are you starting on time? Press ‘Start Meeting‘. Running a bit behind or ahead of schedule? Make the selection accordingly in the drop-down menu (click the little downward arrow). Then indicate how many minutes early or late you are starting. This way the time indication on the progress bar can help you to finish on time in either case.
  2. Clicking ‘Start Meeting‘ starts your progress bar, which is located between your agenda and your text box, on the right of your Circles Space. When you are on time, you can see a darker-hue blue indicating how much time has passed. Below, there is a numerical indication. In this case 2 minutes of the 27 minutes agenda have passed.
  1. If you are behind schedule, the progress bar turns red (see below). Dark blue indicates your current run-time and lighter blue shows the section of the agenda you are in.
  1. Use the arrows below the progress bar to navigate between the sections of your agenda.
