What do we expect from you?

We’re looking for a senior developer who has extensive software engineering experience with a strong focus in front end web architecture. Taking a genuine enjoyment in mentoring others and sharing your knowledge of modern web techniques to help others grow will make you a great fit for this role.

Typescript, React, CSS, Elixir are the primary languages we use for web development, so knowledge of at least some of these is important. Your understanding of databases and data analysis is something we’d love to hear about too!

The role involves joining the development team to help:

Improve our front end engineering and architecture
Mentor other developers and share your skills and experience
Build our customer management interfaces and administration tools.
Integrate with real time web video providers and adding features to our web based video meeting space.
Improve our understanding of how our clients use our features via analytics and data science
Helping clients by troubleshooting and resolving issues is an important part of providing a great end user experience.
Convert the UI mockups from our design team in to elegant CSS and HTMLLine 2

We strive to build applications that efficiently scale to a large number of users. A real time communications platform for small connected groups involves interesting challenges you won’t see in most web development.

We are building a new team in Buenos Aires to work with the operations staff who are already based there and growing our teams in New Zealand and Australia. Applicants from these regions are welcome.

We mostly work remotely, but also value the time we spend meeting in person to discuss design goals, architecture and process improvements.Given our multinational team, the skill to communicate effectively about technical concepts in English is important.

Providing us with a link to your github repository (or similar example of your work) in your resume will be greatly appreciated, and help us understand what you will bring to the team.
